A Pillar Cock is a single outlet tap which is installed on a basin & only discharges hot or cold water. This type of tap was a common feature many decades ago but was superseded by the Basin Tap Set. The range of Bib cocks is quite small due to the lack of popularity. Bib cocks is still used in commercial, industrial or educational facilities. These type of commercial Bib cocks include Time flow taps which can provide warm water with the installation of Thermostatic mixing valves ( TMV ).
